Jim Chatto - Chief Winemaker
Jim Chatto joined Pepper Tree in
March 2007 with a depth of experience across all aspects of
vineyard and winery management from the Hunter Valley, Yarra
Valley, Tasmania, Hungary and France. Jim was a Len Evans Tutorial
Scholar in 2002 and is currently a regional, national and capital
city wine show judge. Jim is responsible for all
winemaking for the brand using fruit sourced from company owned
vineyards in the Hunter Valley, Orange, Coonawarra and
Wrattonbully.The industry has been watching Jim for some time now
and rightly so. He is a great winemaker with a proven track record,
bright future and we are all excited that he has joined our
team.
Luke Watson - Assistant Winemaker
Luke Watson, assistant Winemaker at
Pepper Tree Wines since 2002, first began his study in the field of
Environmental Science then transferred into his beloved field of
Winemaking. Luke's good sense of humour, and easy going
personality, nicely compliments a fierce desire to produce the best
wines possible. |
